Good news and bad news.
Google toolbar now displays and the view toolbars Customize screen has additional icons.

However, there is a rating link added after the author with each update, a new link, not a replacement of the previous one. This appears to happen when I click on the comments link from the main page with multiple posts, but not from a page with just one post on it, although I haven't done exhaustive testing. After it has added several links, the script becomes unresponsive.

To be clearer, the links appear next to the authors name in the comment, not in the author list.

Sounds like the gremlin is still with us. So much for that incantation.

I'm going to try some things to reproduce this here. I'll keep you posted.

Ignore that bit about it not happening from a single post page, I just had it happen there as well.

Jay, could you send me an email?

I also disabled google toolbar with the same result, as well as rebooting and clearing cache.

You should have an email by now. I have disabled all extensions except yours and still get multiple links. I'm not sure it happens with every update. It can take a while before it starts showing up.

Ok, the links seem to start adding after a new comment is posted and then at the refresh timer pop after that.

OK, I think I know why I'm special. At some point I opened up the write a comment box and never closed it. When you close the holoscan comments window and reopen it, the comment box comes back, but the window is in a weird state. If you click on an author it doesn't jump to the comment until someone posts a new comment. Then the links get added and the authors are clickable.

Close the comment box and close and reopen the window and things behave as expected. No extra links. Of course commenting is light now so it's tough to verify.

In a probably unrelated issue, if you type 1 character into the comment box and press preview, you get garbage.

To make the process of getting to multiple links clearer, here are the steps I went through.

1. Click on comment link from post, cr companion comment list opens.
2. Click on write a comment button, cr companion comment box opens.
3. Close the cr companion comment list, leaving the comment box open.
4. click on the comment link from the post, cr companion list box opens. Clicking on the author list has no effect.
5. Wait for a comment to be added. After the comment, clicking on author takes you to comment. Each refresh interval adds a new link.
You can close and reopen the comment list and the behavior repeats. You may get a program is not responding notice when trying to close the comment list. It seems to close if you cancel and try again.

To fix the behavior:
1. Press the discard button to dismiss the comment box. The links keep piling up.
2. Close the comment list.
3. Open the comment list. Behavior returns to normal.

(resubmitted to clean up junk at the end of the comment)

Jay, great info! I was able to reproduce that. Thanks very much.

Now that I have something to work with, I'll see what I can do.
